As of today, I am a legal alien resident of the United States of America! whoo-hoo!
The immigration process has been a long, challenging, stressful, and
expensive journey. But it's all been worth it, finally. Thanks to all
those who sent good vibes my way and were otherwise helpful in the
process. I have to say, I've spent my life reading science fiction, so
I really dig being officially recognized as an alien.
My wife Liz and I just got back from what turned out to be a
surprisingly smooth immigration interview, done by someone who has a
reputation as being a bit of a hard-ass - but he seemed to dig our
AQALicious vibes. This is such delicious "icing on the cake" following
as it does an amazing weekend at the Biennial Conference. As many of
you know, it's thanks to Ken Wilber that I met Liz - on the Integral
Naked forum several years ago. So much great stuff has happened since
then - when I think about all the wonderful people who've come into my
life via connections involving Ken in one way or another, it warms my
heart.
Here is a picture of Liz and me taken a few days after we
met face-to-face, during a wild weeklong gathering of Integral Naked
folk in Vancouver back in 2006:

with gratitude,
Arthur
