Schalk, thank you for your advice. Actually I used to practice QiGong body work once or twice a week, but lately I was too lazy doing it regularly. I will try to improve this lack of discipline ;)
Lizzie, I didn't mean to say Chakras are not scientific (or are they? not sure). If I understand this right, then Theosophy is about Chakras, too. And I remember reading somewhere that Rudolf Steiner was influenced by Theosophy and later founded Anthroposophy. (Correct me if I'm wrong) And, you know, Steiner's work has some influence in Germany concerning pedagogy, there are schools (Waldorf-Schule) and Kindergartens working with antroposophic concepts. I even managed to lend a book from our university library by Steiner (it was about pedagogic principles and how to teach children. I guess). So he is part of the science of pedagogy. (But then: is pedagogy really science?) As you can see, my inner skeptic voice is yelling at me. I just wanted to say that academic science is having a hard time finding a place for Anthroposophy (let alone Theosophy) although concepts of it are present in pedagogy and libraries and culture in general.
