i met someone from vancouver last summer at in integral gathering in n.e. portland organized by shannon pernetti. i've forgotten his name, but it could very well have been you.

if it was you, then you know that shannon leads two groups, each meeting biweekly: a beginning group that is/was going through 'the integral vision', and a more advanced group that is/was going through 'integral spirituality'. i expect they will vacation for the summer and begin on some new project next fall, perhaps 'overview'. the downside, if it was you, is that they meet wednesdays, midday.

there is a group that meets the third monday of each month in downtown portland (check out integralportland.com, if you're interested), which in my view, is decidedly pluralistic, but does offer community/sangha at that level.

i-i has talked about the need for physical (not just wired) communities like what you're seeking, so i imagine they will be saying more about this, once integrallife is launched. i don't know how they will be able to help, and am certainly interested in learning how.

i'm posting this here rather than emailing you because i'm sure other members are interested as well.

Hi Ed,

I anchor the integral portland meetings mentioned by Ralph above.  We continue to meet every third Monday of the month at the Heathman Hotel.  7 pm in the mezzanine.

The current members all have a solid foundation in Integral Theory, but rather than endlessly hashing out the theory, we have been using this foundation as a stepping off point for what I call integrally-informed chit-chat.  We do a lot of resource-sharing (what has everyone been reading?), experience-sharing, etc.  More of a monthly check-in with a group of intelligent, intergrally-minded folks.

Anyone is welcome.  The groups have been small lately (3 to 6).  The website is extremely outdated and not in use any more.
