is it in john 14:12 where jesus says something like:

these things and greater things shall ye do

    ???

he appears to have intuited the evolution of consciousness

Re: Comments on The Mind of Christ

Having wiggled myself out of fundamentalist Christianity and leaving an anthropomorphic old man in the clouds behind, searching for a spirituality that can include a scientific view I heard the interview between JM and KW, thought YES!! and bought the book with a sense of eager anticipation.

It got off to a good start, but before long I got that uneasy feeling. What is this where JM seems to state that J really materialised bread and fish out of nothing, including walked on water?

There seems to be a belief that there is a direct causal connection between mind and matter in his view of what J could do. To me that smacks of magical thinking appropriate for a two year old? As I read on about channelling and mediums and psychics, as well as an exhortation to pay more attention to Mary the Mother of Christ, my uneasiness turned to real disappointment.

Am I missing something here in the views endorsed by the founding fathers of Integral Institute?

The fact that one of the founding fathers of II is coming up with this interpretation is rattling my cage big time. Maybe this is very un-integral, and I am quite prepared to learn, but to me it seems to be more pathologic regression into magic thinking, than integration. /Karin and Mats
