    Thanks for the Link, markevans.

    I started watching Prof. Pausch's lecture on You Tube and couldn't stop till I finished it. His speech is so inspiring and refreshing, so full of humor and positivity, that I almost forgot the tragedy of his fatal illness. I like the thought that, in the future, his kids will be inspired every time they watch this video with all its great advice on how to fulfill one's dreams. And then I like the way Mr. Pausch laughs: it looks like this :-D  You can see the little boy inside him laughing. Awesome. Thanks again for the link.

    And the winner is...

    yesterday the eurovision song contest took place in Belgrad. It was a marvelous show with many highlights, and in the end it was a close race between Greece and Russia but there can be only one 'euro song of the year' and its Believe by Dima Bilan. A great song to do some figureskating...you'll see (well imo this russian song is no match to 'Hardrock Hallelujah' but nobody asked me anyway)

    The german contribution (Disappear by the 'No Angels') ended up on the last position Embarrassed [:$]    Nobody likes us anymore... : (   but at least we got 12 points from Bulgaria and 2 points from Switzerland. Thank you guys, we love you too!! :-D

    Did you notice? The common european language is english. The globalized pop song business seems to demand it. Btw there was an attempt once to create a new universal world language, Esperanto, but somehow it didn't work out. So let's speak englisch, no proplem. I guess it's easier to learn than, uh, let's say chinese.

I hope you won't leave the forum just because this brute is around here and seems to have nothing else to do but to"save the world" while actually fucking up everybody else's.     So what - Nothing? Okay so I'll give you an example how to do it. (My gosh, playing with myself again ;-) For example you could have replied this:

    Ha! That don't impress me much!

    Alright. I think now it's clear how it works. Just let me some time to think of another song to restart the challenge.

    Alright I found one. The challenge is re-open now for everybody who feels like responding. You may post a video, or just write how you liked it, or just enjoy in silence or even think about it! Holy Jesus, yes.

    So this is how I feel sometimes while reading the posts in the forum: "Are we all in the army now or what?!"

    If you feel that anyone's behavior is damaging this we-space in some way, I encourage you to email Corey at cdevos at integrallife dot com and talk to him about it, as requested in the "How to Report Abuse" thread.  Always distinguish between the person themselves and their behavior.  All of us are, at core, doing our best, and all of us are ultimately manifestations of Spirit.

    If you want to foster a healthy we-space, the best way to do so is to make positive contributions and to interact with others from your highest self as much as possible, as suggested in Ken's "Road Rules for Transformation."

    Hi Arthur,

    yes I am aware of the possibilities you mention. I try to speak from my highest self (whatever that may be ;-) as often as possible.

    I know I was a bit rude to Schalk in an above post and maybe I should check my 321 shadow work process on that. But then, as you might have noticed, I tried to settle the conflict in a competetive, sports-like manner. I'm sure Schalk is sportsman enough to understand this. I second your effort for fostering a healthy we-space and I promise to focus on even more positive contributions in the future. The next time the shadow overcomes me, I will make sure I stay in 7th circle with it. ;-)

    I regard both of you guys as very creative individuals. You are both smart, positive contributors to our journey of development. Out of 1,000 people, it is rare to find 2 people like you guys.

    Arthur, I have probably read more of your blog than most people. And I find it very valuable. (By the way, when people say things like that it is common courtesy to thank them. I mentioned this before and you didn't say jack.)

    I remind myself that we are meeting in the Integral forum. That means a lot to me. I have been studying Wilber's works since 1979. One of my professors gave me Spectrums of Consciousness before he died and said: "this is going to be very important work, keep an eye on it."

    I happen to believe that Wilber deserves the absolute highest honor than humanity can bestow on an individual. I mean that in the most literal sense.

    I also believe that he is forced to accomodate a lot of bullshit artists who are making either no sense or very little sense. That's his problem.

    I happen to believe that the Integral map is the single most important work happening anywhere right now. It didn't come about by accomodating bullshit, by the way.

    I have inserted myself from time to time in thread-sharing that was intended to simply create "warm effects." And I have asked or insisted that there be an attempt to explore in a focused way instead of meander in a way that creates "warm effects."

    I have never felt it was improper to use this forum to explore in a focused and somewhat rigorous way the Kosmic development movement.

    I ask each of you to stand on your own feet. If you feel I am full of shit, tell me exactly why. And tell me what standard you are using to say this.  

    Your assessment of my motivations or drug-dependencies or personality or character aren't really helpful. Deal with the issues on the merits and we might all discover and learn valuable new things.

    By the way, Arthur, you can read everything I write. So, if you think that a report of abuse needs to go out to the "Teacher", then do it yourself. Don't plant a seed in Witz' ear. That is just chickenshit conduct. Shoot your arrow at my head Arthur, don't fucking poison the communal well.  

    I asked you before if you wouldn't mind discussing all of these other hostile attacks that you have come under in the past. You mentioned it and I don't even know what you are talking about. Maybe we can identify common themes that explain why you seem to "come under attack" by hostile others. If you don't want to do this, cool.

    OK, gentlemen. Let's get back to the task at hand. And I ask that each of you stop being such lazy-asses about Integral. We need people to sink their teeth into the issues of the day, identify good and bad, right and wrong, beautiful and ugly, and stop massaging each others' egos.

    Integral deserves better than a big circle jerk. Do you know what I am talking about? The world is drowning in idiocy and confusion and bullshit and there are about 10 people on this Forum who seem to care about it. Make it a clean dozen, OK?

    Schalk: I appreciate the 'urge forward' that you usually bring (although there are times when I don't like to be pushed. Period.) You are right that we all should try to make useful contributions and get things going. But, you know, constant red alert is really bad for the overall health and sometimes I enjoy relaxing very much. Call me lazy but that's just the way I function - I have creative phases and then I have lazy phases and that's that. Again, we need to be reminded from time to time that we should move on and get things done, so basically I somehow agree with you (I guess). Two more points about this:

    1.) You are not my boss.

    2.) If you were my boss, we would have a serious discussion about THE MONEY. You know, everything I'm doing here is on a voluntary basis. I am no professional Integralist and I don't see it as work, but as kind of fun and leisure time activity. So, yes, let's get things going. Everybody in the way that works best for them. You do it your way, schalk, and I'll do it my way.
