This week on Integral Spiritual Center....
Wholeness: A Sliding Scale of Enlightenment - Ken Wilber
IS Call on Ch. 6 "Shadow/Disowned Self" - Arthur Gillard/Ken Wilber
Dear Friends,
With an ever deepening understanding of psychology, says Ken at ISC2, the spiritual life begins to look less and less like a game of checkers and more and more like a "three-dimensional game of chess!" In this week's featured video clip, Ken outlines some of his latest thought on states, stages, and shadow. A post-postmodern understanding of enlightenment, he contends, must include oneness with all known states and stages, and with one's shadow.
Speaking of which, our old friend Adastra is featured in this week's audio, from the February "Shadow" call. Arthur and Ken explore just how deep the 3-2-1 Process goes, and what role fear plays in spiritual experience (hint: Ken calls it the "primary mood" of the self).
Thanks to those who joined in on what was turned out to be a dizzying Integral Post-Metaphysics call. I guess we could have seen that one coming :-). It was a grand discussion, and by popular demand, we'll devote the June 9th call to the same topic, with a special appearance by a mystery guest! Please join us for that call, if you can--you won't be disappointed....
Finally, don't miss our first AQAL Journal call, tomorrow at Noon, Mountain time. Ken will discuss Journal topics with their authors and other I-I members. First up is Integral Art! Our IS Discussions have been a hit, and we'd like to continue involving our members in these remarkable discussions with Ken.
My best to you All,
